Saturday 14th - Picture: Breast scar
You can see that there is still some swelling to the side and where the main scar is across the top of my breast. You can also see the ANC scar just poking out from under my arm. Still some bruising just above the cut. You can't see it on this pic, but the lower part of my breast is still blue from the blue dye they put in a month ago. It'll come out eventually (and is the least of my worries).
I'm a 34-year-old female breast cancer patient, diagnosed in January 2009. Originally from New Zealand, my partner and I have settled in Brisbane, Australia, after living abroad for 6 years. This is my blog which I started after my diagnosis and just before my first hospital visit. It's to help me process what's going on and to record my treatments, thoughts, and feelings.
